Odds are you can find at least some of these at your local comic store.
Other Clothes
There's a whole range of Tank Girl clothes
that was released with the movie. This includes:
- Combat trousers
- Cropped waistcoats
- Mini T-shirt dresses (one with the MGM URL on it)
- Miniskirts
- An overcoat made from combat trousers and a short coat.
- A bra with red or white stars on the nipples.
There is a Tank Girl secition in Macy's, in the hip-girl's
department (or whatever it's called). At least in the one in San
Fransisco. (Damned inmpossible to find and so little stuff, too.
Just a few racks, the newspaper article made it sound much more
impressive).
Tank Girl Shoes
Shelly's released these huge clunky shoes. Of course there
are Booga shoes for the men, 'cos no self repecting
male would ever wear shoes that say "girl" on
them.
Posters
There are some posters, again, that came with issues of
Deadline. I think there are others, but I am not quite sure. I
don't know any titles, so descriptions will have to do.

Little Plastic Icons
Models
- Tank Girl with a gun. I saw this at Forbidden Planet ages
ago. I've no idea if they still make because I've recently seen....
Tank Girl with a bat. Basicly it's your standard 40 Watt Club pose,
but in 3d and costing £34.99. Also seen at Forbidden Planet,
I've no idea who manufactures it.
- Tiny Tank Girl. It's a small version of TG in that minimalistic
kid-like style that seems ot be all the rage now. It's £8.99.
You'll never guess where I saw this... Yup. Forbidden Planet. then
again that's the only place I go that would even sell that
kind of thing.
There has been talk about a Tank Girl doll, along the lines of Barbie. I
doubt it will ever happen, however.
Someone out there has the model of the plane used in the movie.
He is willing to sell, if you want it,
contact
him.
Random Collectables
- Tank Girl Collector Cards
- These can be orderd by the box (no price given but it
will probably run about sixty US dollars), 48 packs per box, ten cards
per pack. One hundred and eight card set? There are some chasers and
chromes so I'm not sure. The cards were made before the final movie
cuts so there's lots of stuff on the cards that's not in the film.
- Tank Girl Collectors Cards Deluxe Binder
- This is is pretty much just a binder to hold all of the
cards mentioned above. The cover is full colour (oh wow), but at $20
I'm not that impressed. It also includes an uncut press sheet,
whatever that is.
- Tank Girl Missiles Chromart Chromium Print
- Ok, the nice people who make this actually sent me one
(thanks!) so I now have a clue as to
what it is. Ok, it's an 11"X14" mounted photograph from the film of
Tank and Jet on the tank. The "Chromart" bit means that it's embossed
in some sort of metal. I'll put up a picture someday, so that will
make sense. It comes with a certificate of authenticity -- Like you
could make one youself with a razor and box of tin foil? Well, if you
could it would probably cost you more than this thing costs, and you'd
pretty much deserve any money some punter would shell out for it. But
I digress. ($12)
Whatever
Take a look at the Tank Girl wish list of
stuff Tank Girl fans would like to see, but probably
never will. Email me your biggest desire!
How to Get It
Some comic book shops may have old issues of the Dark Horse
comics or back issues of Deadline. They may also have posters,
shirts, and maybe the model, but that's less likely. In the US it's
even less likely. In White Rock, NM, forget it.
It's Possible to order some stuff directly
from Deadline.
If you want the graphic novel and want to save some money, stop by
your local library. They might have it.
