Neat places on the net

These are a bunch of that I think would be of interest to people who like Tank Girl. Some of these sites are run by people who helped make this site a better place, other are just neat.

Tank Girl Sites

Mostly Content

Magazines, articles, and and suchlikes

Deadline the magazine.
Tank Girl News
Usenet group devoted to either the Tank Girl comic or someone who used to be on the net with the user name TankGirl. But mostly consisting of discussions of drinking and shaved heads.
Italian Tank Girl site
About the Italian Comic. In Italian, of course.
Wired
An article written by John Bates about Tank Girl.
Tank Girl: Born in Worthing
A history of TG and the artists cos they're the only famous thing to come out of Worthing.

Web sites kinda like this one

Tank Girl, Booga, and Friends
A content heavy site very into the comics and what they mean.

Mostly Pictures / Links

Sub Girls
I have no idea what it's about but it's got lots of pictures of bald women that could look like Sub Girl, all photographed on a submarine.
Brian's Tank Girl page
Alot of pictures of Tank Girl. There's a bunch that aren't on this site.
Tank Girl
Another Tank Girl page with mostly pictures of Tank Girl.
Tank Girl
A few picturs and a few links. From Café Liberty.
Yet even more Tank Girl
Pix, links, the usual.
Tank Girl
Two pictures and a short blurb.
Jonathan's Tank Girl
Some pix and fan art.

Other H&M stuff

Common People
Jamie Hewlett's comic based on that pulp Song.

The Tank Girl Movie

The movie
The official MGM-UA page for the Tank Girl movie.
The UK movie site.
Another official MGM-UA page for the UK release. Ok this one doesn't exist anymore, but I'm leaving it here for historical purposes.
The Hollywood Online Tank Girl pages
Why must every fucking Hollywood Tank Girl page start by increasing the font size? It's fucking annoying. Look, I'm big enuf and old enuf to realise what size font I want. It wouldn't piss me off so much if every single fucking Tank Girl web site didn't do it. What? Do they think large font size is punk? What, <font size=+1> gives the text more attitude? Try <font attitude=+1> instead. Or is it just that large font size replaces meaningless content ("Well it's big, so it must be interesting and important"). It's more like "We have to take up the space somehow, but we have nothing to say". Maybe I should try it.
Phat
An article about the movie.

Other Comics

The Sandman
My other biggest comic influence.
Elektra Assassin
Not alot, but some stuff (and pictures) of everyone's favourite superhero.
Hothead Paisan
The homicidal lesbian terrorist.
Nick Fitton's home.
Pictures of comics and Magna stuff.
Where the Buffalo Roam
A cute online comic.

Girly stuff

Net Chick Clubhouse
Home page of Carla Sinclair, author of Net Chick, the book of female-friendly sites on the net. A nicefriendlypunkyhappy page.
geekgirl
A really well done cyberfeminist web-zine.
Cybergrrl
Home page of Cybergrrl. Full of intersting stuff. Worth a look.
Kat's Homepage!
Home page of aft-g's own dominatrix skaterpunk.
The Girly Pages
Not much of a site on it's own, but links to a bunch of site by or for women.

Random other stuff which has some general motif that has to do with this site

Tankgirl
The home page of the internet's Tankgirl (Josette Torres), the one for whom alt.fan.tank-girl was started in the days when she had time for that sort of thing before the comic fans and Kat's hair took it over.
Robin
Find out what Robin likes.
Mon Cherie
The home page of a fetish club. 'Cos they asked nicely.
Still can't get enuf links? Well there's some more links that have nothing to do with Tank Girl whatsoever
